I've only been sewing for around a year and a half and while I knew the pattern would challenge me, I'm so glad I went with the memory bear first in honor of my daddy. The pattern and tutorial went beautifully hand in hand. I did have to watch some of Lisa's hand sewing tutorials but now I have that knowledge to lead me forward with her other patterns. So, don't be intimidated if you haven't been sewing long. You can do it!!!
I was asked to make a teddy bear out of her mother’s black real fur coat dated back to the 30’s 40’s. I researched on YouTube because I had no idea how to make one. Thank you so much for the free pattern, and all the instructions to making one. It turned out beautifully.
Very detailed pattern and learned a lot watching the video. Thank you. I will try a denim one next time. This one is for our great grand son.

I absolutely loved making this memory bear for my wee nephew. As always, every pattern from Lisa is impeccable and the video tutorials are an absolutely must for me as someone who is a visual learner. I have made so many of her patterns now and I can say with great conviction that you will love Lisa's patterns. She explains everything beautifully in her tutorials. I must admit, cutting into my wee nephews primary 1 school uniform was a bit nerve wracking, but I knew Lisa's patterns so well and that they always work perfectly, that it gave me the confidence to finally cut into the fabric. My brother and my nephew love their new memory bear. Thank you Lisa for such a great pattern and tutorial. That's another one under my belt, lol.
I just love this pattern I have made 2 so far for my neighbor that lost her son last year. I will be making in total 6 bears one for each one of her kids and I am going to make her one for her a special one from fabric of each one of her kids bears. I have never made anything like this and your videos of step by step on how make the bear was the best ever . And the additional videos on how to do the stitch’s need to sew by hand were great. I hope by the time I finish my last bear my sewing skills will be so much better. Thank you, Gracie Crook

These where made from my late partners clothes 1 is the patchwork bear and the other is the Christmas bear. I love that pattern
Love this pattern! Not hard at all to make. Just took my time. The corduroy bibs completed it.
I loved making this bear. I was able to learn new techniques and work out of my comfort zone. I am so pleased with the end result. He is going to be my cousins 60th birthday gift. Thank you Lisa for this wonderful pattern and the new techniques you have shared. 😊😊😊

He was a pleasure to make. I’d never made a soft toy before so this was quite an experience for me, I loved it. I’ve also just completed the cuddle bear, more hand sewing than I’ve ever done in my life but he turned out great as well.

Made this from my dads pjs and neck ties
I really enjoyed making this bear. The bear was straightforward in making ( I do dressmaking mostly) I did struggle with the sewing on ears but feel with more practice this will get easier! I’m happy with how it turned out and my friend who lost her dad is thrilled with them! 😊

The best memory bear pattern available! I’ve lost count of how many of these fabulous bears I’ve made. Each one has its own personality and they are all adored by the people I’ve made them for. Easy to follow video tutorial that will teach you how to make a bear that will last a lifetime 💛
Accessing the pattern was easy and straightforward. I’ll post a picture when I’ve tackled this handsome fellow x Well this is my bear, I’m calling it a prototype as I’ve only made him from scrap material to make sure I could do it, before I cut into my late husbands dressing gown. I found the hand sewing a little difficult as I have arthritis, but I think he turned out quite well.
Lisa's patterns are awesome! I lost my son in 2022 and made the Memory Bears with my deceased Son's jeans. My son was a pipe welder so his jeans were quite thick, but they made up beautifully with Lisa's pattern. I made them for my 2 granddaughters and they loved them. I have also done a few other patterns of Lisa's and plan to do a lot more of them. Thank you Lisa for all you and Carl do for us.
New to bear making and Lisa has shown us how to put the bears together. Highly recommend her page and utube videos. Only been following lisa for 2 weeks. If its your first bear this is the lady to show you how to make the bears properly
